LOL.
Yes!! Eric/Will Friedle was a comedic genuis.

& It reminds of me of a scene in "Will & Grace":
GRACE: Okay, gimme my latte.

[WILL LOOKS AT THE CUPS.]

WILL: Why does yours say Patrice?

[WILL GIVES GRACE HER CUP OF COFFEE.]

GRACE: Oh, that's my coffee name.

WILL: You have a coffee name?

GRACE: There's a lot you don't know about me. Eh, maybe that's all.

[GRACE WALKS INTO THE KITCHEN AND PRESSES A BUTTON ON THE ANSWERING MACHINE.]

[THE ANSWERING MACHINE BEEPS.]

BOBBI [VOICE]: Hello, dear. It's your mother.

GRACE: Calling from heaven, I hope.

BOBBI [VOICE]: Bad news about your father's birthday this weekend, dear. Your sisters can't make it. So it'll just be you and me and the old putz. Hm. Did I hang up? I can't tell if I hung up. I can't--I can't tell. This-- Martin! [DIAL-TONE]

GRACE: What? Just me and them? Oh, no, that ain't gonna happen. It's gonna be me, them, and you.

WILL: No, no, no. No, no, there's no way Tyler's going all the way up there.

GRACE: Tyler?

WILL: That's my getting-out-of-going-to-your-parent's-house name.

"Do you even remember what you came here to find?"

My favorite Eric line is from his one man show. "Age 4 I poo poo on a bus. Nobody likes me."

reply

I say that when I am talking to myself. I call myself Kyle.

reply

I agree. It's probably my favorite of his lines. That, or "Duckies are the horsies of the ocean." which I definitely quote more often.

Please don't feed the trolls.

Lol, Kyle. He was a great character and I loved his scenes with Tommy.

reply

Duckies rule!!! And I love the Kyle line too, lol. Glad you shared that "Will & Grace" bit. It's not often I would thank someone for taking a discussion away from BMW but that sounds like quite the entertaining couple of scenes.

Easily one of my favorite Eric moments as well. It's a quiet and straightforward delivery/line, but it's just as funny and memorable as any of his showier moments.

And you know, Looney Tunes Eric did make me laugh every now and then. But the cooler, far less goofier and yet still not the sharpest knife in the drawer Eric is the one that I find the funniest.
