Are there going to be anymore seasons?

Or was the 2011 season just a one off?

reply

I am curios to that as well. Depends on the ratings I guess. Anyone know how well the new episodes did?

reply

Ratings dwindled down to 900,000 viewers by season's end (4 million on the first episode in the 2011 season). Ratings were not due to the product being terrible (It was great!), but more tough competition on other networks during that timeslot.

I read recently on eatblogdie.com that Mike Judge plans on doing more, but NOT on MTV. He's not interested in their target audience (F 12-14). I can't say I blame him. I think the show should come back once every couple years. That one season in 2011 was far better than the last few seasons of "Family Guy" and "South Park" combined!

Yea, I'm still pleasantly surprised at how good that comeback season was in 2011. Would love to see Judge make a little more B & B.

Yeah, airing it on a different channel sounds like a good idea since most of the people who grew up with B&B-B don't watch MTV anymore.

reply

It should be twelve minute shows on adult swim. Cut out the couch scenes.

reply

the couch scenes were some of the best parts of the older episodes. It just sucked in the new one because it was chocked full of Jersey Shore and other garbage reality shows that the Old B n B would have trashed.

You guys do realize that Mike Judge has a new comedy show coming out very soon on HBO? He's been working on it for the past year. B&B is completely done for. That 2011 season was definitely just a one-off. From what I read, it performed well enough but the current people in power at MTV didn't want to continue it because they are more interested in female-oriented material for MTV.
