What a nice man and a great actor. I know Claudia is deeply saddened by the loss of her friend. Just visited her Facebook page, and she has so many positive and interesting stories about Jerry and what a stand up guy he always was to everyone. The fans that attended Science Fiction events have many good things to say about Jerry and his consideration for others.
I used to listen to Jerry's radio show pretty regularly, and he didn't sound very healthy the last few years. Not sure what was wrong, but I think he had a few health problems.

He had a big incident back in 2010 where he was in a coma. He used to talk about never missing a sunrise since that incident. I know he had a hard time battling his cigarette habit. I wonder if it contributed to his issues.

Well Doyle was at a FanCon in Germany a year or so ago & he got blindsided & mugged. He got knocked out & he had these hideous stitches in his head to close the gashes.

Bummed about Jerry Doyle's passing. I didn't get to meet him, but we did Tweet each other a few times. I was pretty stoked about that. Loved his performance as Michael Garibaldi (got a kick out of his devotion to Daffy Duck) as you got to see his character arc over all 5 seasons.
I also appreciated his passion for U.S. Politics. RIP Garibaldi.
