Another old Spielberg? Show

I remember this old cartoon from when I was a kid, and I think it also might have been produced by Steven Spielberg, but I am not 100% sure. I remember this black guy with a really long beard who traveled around with this guy who was shaped like an egg. Also, there was a kid in lederhosen who was really loud and obnoxious. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I already posted a question like this on the Freakazoid board, but nobody has answered yet. I've asked all my friends, but they have no idea what I'm talking about.

That would be Histeria!, it was a series of skits about Father Time with his partner Big Fat Baby (the egg shaped guy you mentioned) takes these kids (one of which was the loud obnoxious kid you mentioned his name was appropriately enough Loud Kiddington) on these tours throughout different periods of history with the kids poking fun at or annoying the famous people they meet, it was one of my favorites growing up, it's a shame that it hasn't seen a dvd release.

However Spielberg had nothing to do with Histeria!, but Tom Ruegger and a lot of the staff who worked on Freakzaoid, Animaniacs, and Pinky & The Brain did.

I have an unbelievably long ignore list.

Sure they did. Thier sketches were the most popular of the recurring ones on Animaniacs and the only ones that were spun-off to feature exclusively them. After Animaniacs run, it aired on WB, a channel I didn't get at the time.
