I remember rushing to our home after school just so I don't miss any episode of Aladdin unfortunately, there have been times that I had. I never got to know why Mozenrath always wore the glove? Was is explained in one epi?

The gauntlet was the source of all his power. He gave away his own hand so he could wear it. That's why the hand under the gauntlet is skeletal. It was explained just last night, actually, in The Lost City of the Sun.

Thanks TIMechaSonic for the explanation. It has been ages since I last seen the series *smiles* and when Disney Channel Asia picked it up many months earlier this year, I was still unfortunate to watch that particular episode.

Sad to say, the voice actor who played Mozenrath is dead now... he just recently committed suicide. ;_;

i thought mozenrath got the gauntlet when he tried to capture the magic eating beast. and his hand was eaten by it. seems like he said about being once bitten and then his flying lamprey chimed in with the same thing.

Yeah, but in pretty much every other episode it says that the guantlet itself is a power source, and in "The Lost City of the Sun" he says his hand is skeletal because of the guantlet's effects, not because the thirdak bit him. ^_^

yeah, i thought he was pretty cute when i was a kid...then again i thought a lot of boys were cute as a kid ^_^ but i didn't go so far as to look for a guy who looked like him :P (BTW, Hylian_Heroine, i was just kidding :D)

Well He just kind of came to me but oh well. I really liked the guy, but we've been broken up for a while. Well anyways, enough of my ranting. Lol.

Agreed. I still Mozenrath. He was hot, his voice was brilliant and his character was very well-written. I wish we had more hot male cartoon villains like him.

...the name Mozenrath, is based on two names: Bill Motz and Bob Roth.

Had...actually still kinda do, lol. Have a crush on him. An attractive man for a cartoon...probably because the artist studied the voice actor(Jonathan Brandis) movements, gestures, posture, etc. And I LOVE Jonathan(may he rest in peace) so. But his voice was the hottest thing, swear to God, lol. I miss him so much.....I watch Aladdin at 9am every morning in hopes of cathcing Mozenrath episodes =D

OMG! I knew that Johnathan Brandis was the voice of Mozenrath, but I didn't remember him until I went to your link and...I had a crush on him when I was a child!! He was so cute! It's so sad what happened to him, he was so young...
