DVD Release?

Anyone know if Disney is planning to release this series on DVD?

*edit* Just saw on Wikipedia (if it's accurate) that there are no plans. Hrm. I'm sure they will get to it eventually; they seem to be releasing series from my childhood right now. :)

I really hope they'll eventually have the Aladdin series on DVD. It's definitely one of my favorite shows that I still watch from time to time when I see it on. So glad I taped a few of the episodes. Can't believe the show is now 14 years old, it makes me feel old, not too old though lol.

I really hope so, too. I used to watch it everyday after school...it was the highlight of my day. I'm so used to having TV on DVD these days, I was suprised that there were no plans to put Aladdin out there.

But I sure am glad I kept my Jasmine's Enchanted Tales VHS collection, because that's all I have now! XD (well, and the internet...)

Not that I've heard of, but there are a few episodes on those Disney Princess DVDs.

They really need to release it on DVD (or Blu-Ray), preferably chronologically in a boxed set. Aladdin is probably my favourite Disney movie ever and this series was so great! I miss it...

I so want it on DVD.

This was my second favorite Disney series after "Duck Tales". It used to be on weekdays after I got off of school. I've snagged all the "Duck Tales" releases on DVD and am very anxiously awaiting even a few episodes of this great, great series on DVD. There is positivly no justice if they never do release this again.

Disney just recently released shows like Quack Pack and Goof Troop which started around the same time iirc, so it's really only a matter fo time before Alladin makes its way out.

If the original film gets the 3D treatment like Toy Story 1 and 2 did and Beauty and The Beast is about to, then there's a better chance that it'll be released.

I wish they would release this on DVD too. I would pay good money for the whole series. This is probably Disney's most underated series. I'd take it over Ducktales any day (although I love that show too). I have all 18 episodes released on VHS (Including the Princess ones. I do feel a tad embarrased owning them, but hey, it's easy access to 8 episodes, 6 of which ranged from great to excellent), but of course that's not nearly enough, although I should be grateful that that many were released.

Nope, Disney has NO plans of releasing this series on DVD or Blu-Ray thanks to the lackluster sales of the DuckTales sets. I'm just glad that I managed to record ALL 86 episodes(along with the Hercules episode "Hercules And The Arabian Night") from Toon Disney before they dropped it from the line-up when they changed to DisneyXD. I'm actually in the middle of a complete series viewing marathon right now

Yah, sucks! Was it really not that popular enough to get DVD's? Quack Pack got some, don't think that series was too popular :/

2012, bring it on!
