ANOTHER CHRISTOPHOBIC MOVIE

Why is it that Hollywood has this intense hatred for Christians? Why is it that so many films involving sick, murder stories have some imagery of Christian symbols and Christian verbiage in them? You don't see these films using the Star of David or Rabbi's or Jewish imagery. Or, you don't see even Muslim symbols and lines from the Koran. Why is it OK to attack Christians like this?

It's utterly disgusting that Hollywood attacks Christianity on a constant basis and makes that religion a target of the most vile things that the movie studios can concoct.

We need to let Hollywood know that it's not OK to do this.

Christophobic? I like that. Aren't Christians supposed to be scared of Christ? I mean, this is the guy with a sword sticking out of his mouth in the end times and killing everyone. Not to be confused with God, who is only seen by a few schizos and well... kills everyone.

Maybe I encountered this post at the wrong time. I just got finished reading Exodus, and about the billionth time God told Moses to kill those who do anything on the Sabbath, I cracked up. God sure likes expressing certain things ad tedium.

I suppose you want all villains to be atheists. Bigot!

BTW, no offense. I was mostly kidding. Well, not kidding, more like being a total smart-ass. Sorry.

Actually, I've never seen this movie. I was just following your post from The Rapture. But how could I have missed a movie with Sharon Stone? I so love Sharon Stone.

Hey Jtpaladin,

You get a reply like almost 10 years later, how cool ;-)

I just think they used the cross and Christian symbols because those are the most famous, especially in America-Europe. The production team must be a bunch of Christians or used to be Christians. That's all..

I don't see it as an attack to Christianity because to me Christianity shouldn't be represented by a cross or any other images.

When I do read Exode 20:4, it reminds me of the message left by Jesus when he came among humans. To pray his father, God, draw closer to Him. We don't need and shouldn't use any things for that. The verse is clear about it.

Apart from that, the movie is slow and boring but the atmosphere is creepy and cool :-p I liked it. Plus Sharon Stone is so beautiful ;-)

Have a nice day.

A Christian complaining about judgemental people? This post is pretty funny.

I used to do drugs. I still do, but I used to, too.
