Most logical sequel idea

Mockumentary.

If they were to do a Wayne's World 3 twenty plus years later, wouldn't a mockumentary work best?

Seeing an older Wayne and Garth running around on misadventures may not work, but an older Wayne and Garth being interviewed for their old hit public access show, along with little snippets here and there of Wayne and Garth up to their old activities (yet, not fully) serms like the best possible choice for a sequel. It would even help clue us in on what they've been up to for the past 20+ years.

And if it seems they still have it, perhaps a more proper sequel would follow?

Wayne went on to form "Wayne's Wild Productions" a company specialized in booking venues and in later years restorations of old theaters and even warehouses. It was charity work at first in restorations, but grants and donations helped. These buildings and revitalized buildings provided a chance for new music and fans to grow.

Garth found a school for drummers which grew into a chain of them. Eventually he and his "dream woman" opened an organic store, long before they were hip, and called it "Garth's Greens."

"Crucial Taunt" had gone onto a number of hits and later went on the road promoting a number of groups at the venues which were restored from Wayne's Wild Productions. I'll give you three guesses were many of the new drummers learned to make their tunes and later got their greens.

Cassandra even got to star in a role in a video game
