Ending
It's been quite a long time since I last watched the movie. COuld someone tell me again how the movie ended.

ok i havent seen the film, but that sounds a lot worse than the ending in the book...
the book is magnificent
I gotta question:
I only saw like, five minutes of the film. I saw Young Tom and some girl at some old guy's place, and the old dude put out a candle and said to put your hand over it or something. Anyhoo, he pushes the kid out and starts doing something to the girl, then younger tom comes in sees the girl, she screams and puts the candle out with her hand. Now, I found this scene really disturbing, but mostly because I had no idea what was going on! Was he trying to rape her, help, her, what? It really freaked me out.
