shareSuch an amazing movie that I saw as a child and still to this day chills me at 45. Lillian Gish, Shelley Winters and Robert Mitchum were brilliant and to this day this film is still in my top ten.
shareAgreed. Saw this again recently. Images I remembered and forgot from childhood viewing, probably 25 years ago, were re-burned into my brain. That image on the stoop jumped out at me while I was re-watching Visions of Light the other night. Of course, Mitchum as priest/killer is not easily forgotten as he is sitting in background singing.
