The Fake Trashmen

Was this an actual band, or was it put together for this film? Either way, it's a great scene, so well shot it makes you want to freeze-frame it to enjoy the details, like the bald guy sitting against the wall playing the bongos in some kind of trance, and of course the stage-dancing of the "Irish" composer.
