Nelly Alard can't act

Why did Henry Jaglom cast Nelly Alard in a leading role in this film? My gosh. She can't act at all and her ad-libbing skills suck. You can totally tell she's acting. Especially when they are at his office and she lays her head down like she's bored (please) and then jumps up minutes later wanting to do a test screening out of the blue. Give me a break. And her coming to his CA home during the music performance and then sitting on the edge of the couch and just staring at him was stupid. I couldn't tell if Henry was looking at her or not because the camera angle was far out for the whole room. It would have been nice to have some close ups in that scene.

If there's an empty space, just fill it with a line. . even if it's from another show.
