good movie

I just watched this last night and got a real kick out of it. The digital cable synopsis didn't mention anything about the dark comedy aspect of it, so I was expecting more of a straight horror/suspense movie but found myself laughing throughout. It had a similar feel to Tales from the Darkside. It was great to Michael Ironside in this as well.

Yes as I got a kick out of it as well when I first watched it for the first time a month ago and then I watched it once again this past Monday afternoon on THIS TV. It was a great film and I loved it too! The whole concept of the film was completely different. I honestly thought the first time that I watched it that Bill Paxtons character was going crazy when he really was not though. I would love to add this gem to my film collection that I have already tons of different films that I love to watch.

This needs a quality dvd release, for sure!

It definitely does and I totally agree with you there about a good quality DVD release all right. If MGM does not want to release it then why not sell the rights to some distribution company then that will put it out there?

May have seen it when I was younger but didn't remember. I would haven been around 6-8 depending when it came on tv or if it did come to TV. Looks like an under appreciated flick which is better than more then half the other crap out there. I'm not gonna spoil movie at all, but I recommend people seeing movie before reading Reviews.

I got a kick out of this film's surreal paranoid atmosphere and offbeat sense of black humor. Bill Paxton was excellent in the lead while Marshall Bell was quite creepy as the titular homeless guy.
