Asian couple at the start - Unisols
Well the exact same couple that got killed at Vietnam are the exact same couple during the siege on the Dam. Maybe they were also Unisols pretending to be Hostages.

shareHeh, so it does. Well, I haven't watched the movie since my last post on this thread, but that's enough reason for me to pull the DVD off the shelf and watch it again. Very interesting.
EDIT: Started watching it again last night and looked more closely at the two couples. I guess they do look like they're played by the same pair of actors.

Heh, I just recently got around to listening to the commentary track (duhh) and Emmerich specifically says they used the same actors for both sets of roles.
So I guess that settles it -- the OP and the trivia page are right and I was wrong.
