The ones like Universal Soldier: Regeneration (2009) and Universal Soldier: Day Of Reckoning (2012) are they any good?

I'd argue that Regeneration and Day of Reckoning are two of the best action films of recent memory. I think they're both better than the original and infinitely better than The Return. Both have more depth in terms of storytelling while also having more intense and gripping action scenes

universal soldier 2 is shit cheap direct to video film.
universal soldier part 3/regeneration/day of reckoning.... i would not piss on these film if they on fire.
The Return is dtv bad and dosnt really feel like a sequel at all.
Regeneration is fantastic like a modern day (2009) reboot and easily as good as the first
Day Of Reckoning has same director as 3 but JCVD isnt the main character and is abit wtf and goes off into Apocalypse Now territory
Day Of Reckoning is the only one I didn't seen.
From the ones I watched they all entertaining at some level. Universal Soldier: The Return (1999) is little disappointing compared to the first movie but still fun. Regeneration (2009) is a great movie, with some amazing one on one battles, especially the second part of the movie.
