Miss July 1989 went from blubbing to battle hardened in 20 mins
"I'm going" LOL
I didn't buy that transformation either. But I guess she was one of those people with hidden depths. Some people find such a resolve within perilous circumstances.

I thought it was handled much better in the second one when the porter shoots one of the terrorists and then has a moment of shock when he realises he just killed someone.
shareWell she did see a lot in a short space of time, I mean from the time she popped out of that cake and started following Casey around the ship to the point where she actually kills someone herself to stop them from killing him he pretty much took out anyone and anything that got in there way seeing all of that death is bound too do one of two things your either going to go into shock and shut down or your going to want to fight and she chose fight.
shareExactly right. She trusted Casey and made a decision that following him was better than hiding.
shareAngel etc., you just reminded me of Molly Bloom’s soliloquy in James Joyce’s Ulysses.
shareDespite the hokey dialog there, I do enjoy the part where she goes after Casey in the corridor and says, "the safest place on this ship is right behind you!".
shareYeah that was pretty cool.
shareSome people are just naturally born with those battle hardened instincts. Sort of like how Rey was born already knowing how to fight like a jedi, despite having little to no training
