Things I noticed about Troll 2...

Now I know that this movie is obviously badly made, which is pretty much the point of watching it, and would explain why it has such a big fan base. But I wanna point out some of the painfully dumb and just bizarre things I noticed in this movie.

1.) Some parts of the soundtrack sound like something out of a cheesy video game from the 1980's.

2.) The goblin outfits looked like something that could've been purchased at a cheap Halloween superstore. The goblins are so amazingly unconvincing, that it's actually hilarious.

3.) In the beginning, the dad said something along the lines of, "When we go to Nilbog, we're gonna be farmers, just like our ancestors." Um...what?? When he said "farmers", I assume he just meant spending time in the countryside. What kind of farming was he planning on doing, exactly? I mean, when they actually arrive at the house in Nilbog, I don't see any farms (consisting of chicken, cows, pigs, etc.) I don't even see any nearby crops around. In fact, there doesn't seem to be any food at all. What kind of farmer-like labor was he referring to?

4.) When the Waits family finally meets with the Presents family...their entire introduction when meeting, was so awkward, sketchy, and rude. If I was the dad, I would've been awfully suspicious of the Presents family. I think I would've cancelled my plans to stay in Nilbog, right then and there.

5.) When the Present's son throws Joshua the baseball, with the threatening message written on it; did it ever occur to Joshua that he should probably show the baseball to his parents. I mean, seeing that message ahead of time, maybe would've helped Joshua convince his parents about the goblins. Just sayin...

6.) The dialogue scene / MOM: "What's wrong Josh, do you have to throw up?" - JOSH: "Yes, I have to throw up!" (such awkward and poorly thought out dialogue)

7.) In the beginning, I can clearly see the mom and Holly staring off into the distance, almost as if they were reading their lines.

8.) Those dance moves of Holly's??? What was that?!

9.) Why did Grandpa Seth only give Joshua 30 seconds to stop his family from eating? And better yet, why did Joshua totally waste 30 seconds?

10.) The family just started eating food that the Presents family left behind for them. The butter on the corn just so happened to be green. Did the family ever stop and think, "What's all this green stuff?"

11.) Holly was like..."I've been fasting for two days." lol

12.) Arnold was obviously looking for a girl to hook up with. The way he ran after that girl in the woods, who clearly seemed to be in distress...made Arnold seem awfully sketchy. I mean, literally, he was chasing after her "in the woods"...as if the girl was just gonna suddenly turn around and say something like, "Oh hey, didn't see you there. Wanna go on a date?" lol

13.) Elliot and his friends were basically like, "Let's go to the countryside, in the middle of nowhere, and see if we can find some hot babes." What kind of "babes" are gonna be wandering in the middle of nowhere?

14.) The dad suddenly fell asleep while reading a book. lol

15.) Holly acted like she wanted Elliot to abandon all of his friends and be with her. And yet, when Elliot was around...Holly didn't even seem like she liked him to begin with. What was the point?

16.) ELLIOT: "What's wrong with having friends?" / HOLLY: "Nothing...if you wanna be a virgin for life." Um, what? lol

17.) The local "store" didn't contain any food. Just a crazy guy and some unrefrigerated milk. Gross!

18.) One of the worst lines by the dad: "Hey! What are you doing to my son?!" lol

I could go on and on. There were so many cheesy, poorly thought own, poorly acted, and hilarious moments.
