I've watched it over and over again.
It's like the nightmare before christmas, something a little out of the norm you can just sit back and relax. I lovc the music, the acting and the jokes. Now I'm an adult (I was 8 when it came out) I understand it a little more, and hey it teaches people war is bad, and you never have to grow up which is a cool idea.

Gretchen: No, that was a compliment.
I also saw it when I was young (and am probably adding to more discussions than I can handle), and when I saw it, I took it for something like Jurassic Park: something good, funny, and action-packed that scared me to the bottom of my seat (yes, I first saw it in a movie theater, YAY!!!) with those dangerous things crawling around trying to kill everyone.
It's my third favorite movie of all time.
