Reference to The Rescuers (1977)?

I think everything is stole from the rescuers. From start to finish. Tom and Jerry unexpectedly finds an orphaned girl whose trapped with an insolent Aunt. And terrible things happen. That's why I think it's stole from the rescuers and should be put inside the recommendations box.

I saw the Rescuers last week for the first time in over 10 years, and watching it, the whole thing with Penny reminded me both of this movie and All Dogs go to Heaven.

Yes, this movie did steal from the Rescuers, and where that movie succeeded, this one failed in every way possible.
