Finally watche this after years of avoiding

Like just about anyone I had my fears. This movie has been talked down a lot and it being one of the productions i had yet to see even with a childhood spent on CN in the 90s, boy was I still worried. But when you get it cheap in a set with others you bite the bullet. And what I found was a mix bag.

As a movie on it's own pure merit. It's fun. I enjoyed it on only itself alone. But the problem is that it's got a underlying problem. Tom and Jerry feel shoehorned into this movie. And that's my only real problem. I don't get hate on disliking them talking and teaming up, those things both happened way back in the originals and on-off over the years. So no worry there.

But I just can't help but feel original characters or other characters from the library would have felt more at home in this movie than Tom and Jerry did. To be honest had this have been a Droopy and Dribble movie with a Tom and Jerry cameo busting out of the kennel chasing each other, my rating would probably be much higher.

If anyone like me is still holding out on watching this one, I say take a shot. You may find it decent but a bad choice in casting or find it loathsome, but I think the hate cloud on it has been exaggerated a bit. I'm not feeling as regretful as I used to think i would be when i actually watched this thing.
