It must've creeped Dennehy the hell out to receive that. In my opinion it just makes Gacy sound even more guilty.

Wonder if Dennehy wrote him back, telling him, he'd like to see him executed for his crimes(because that was what Dennehy said in an interview when the movie was premiered).
