Why did Maggie get angry at Ray?
The scene at Maggie's place when Ray mentioned something about an airplane crash. I've watched that scene many times and don't understand why she suddenly became defensive and than slammed the door.
shareMaggie was impatient with Ray because she felt that he was playing up his Native ancestry while knowing very little about it. She also felt that he was treating her like an ignorant or less knowledgeable person. Talking down to her. Acting as if she had never been off the rez or was less educated or something.
