If anyone is disapointed with this anime and Tenchi still hasn't picked a woman M. K. stated in an interview (can't find the source at the moment) that after the War with the Godesses and Z etc etc and all that other stuff, then M. K. will make OVA 4 and 5 to completely conclude Tenchi Muyo Ryo-Ohki.
I hope Tenchi comes to his senses and picks Ryoko!

shareI can't see a OVA4 or 5 coming into focus, harem comedy gets old fast and all I saw on OVA 3 was recylcyled material. People wait for ten years only to get some new characters with green hair who yet again make tenchi blush and a poor voice selector for ryoko. I honestly hope something new will come out of OVA4 if its made but I would rather they just left it as it is. I would be more intrested in seeing a ryoko or ayeka spinoff, I would be intrested in seeing that instead.

I don't really think Tenchi loves Ryoko. Even if she loves him, I don't think it's enough. And I strongly believe Tenchi loves Sasami. Yes it would be weird now, but when she's older it would be perfectly normal. 9 years difference doesn't matter when your a grownup.

shareIt may be nine years physically, but you have to remember that Sasami is from Jurai and ages differently than Tenchi. She'll be a child, both in mind and body, for a long time.

I sort of hope that there is a new OVA because the third one wasn't not at all what I was expecting. I really disliked how they introduced a boat load of new characters and barely focused on the girls that we already had. And the way Ryoko was portayed was awful. She became nothing more than a flat comic relief. The first episode started out promising with her mothering Ryo-oh-ki, but then they just made her into the clown of the show. I especially disliked the thing with Noike. No offense to anyone here who likes her, but my biggest problem with the whole "Tenchi has a fiancee" thing is that Ryoko and Ayeka who have been at each other's throats over who gets Tenchi pretty much just step aside and accept the fact that Noike is his fiancee. That just seemed out of character.

shareI'd also like to see more OAVs, though not so much for the whole "who gets Tenchi" thing. I think Kajishima-sensei has already stated that Tenchi picks everyone in the end anyway.
OAV 3 threw me for a loop, and I'd like to know about the Choushin, actually.
i hope for a one or more ovas to close things off
first of all he will atleast end up with ryoko and ayeka if not both, gxp is the same timeline and seina marries 4-8 girls, azuna has two wives concurrently, so in that universe multiple wives are not a big deal
i like the third ova but wished it was longer, i dont mind noike, and the thing at the end with tenchi having some crazy power was kick ass
