Great movie for the family

I have watched this movie, and I would suggest all families watch it. It is one of the best movies I have seen. Robert Urich did a splendid work as well as the other cast members. I wrote him about the movie and he sent me a personal note in reply. He was a fine man and actor. It's difficult to find movies today that aren't based on sex, violence, drugs, or alcohol. Even though this movie is old, it still ranks in the top ten on my list. I wish the movie industry would take notice that everyone who enjoys movies isn't interested in vulgar language and the rest of the 'x' rated criteria. I think they would be surprised. Thanks for the opportunity to let my thoughts be heard. pj

You're sad. Truly. I wish people like you would take notice and stop living in this bubble world you've created for yourself. Regardless, there are tons of bible thumping movies out there that I'm sure you'd enjoy. Pretty much ever Kirk Cameron film is probably up your alley. Enjoy.

No, you know what's REALLY sad? Hostile, insensitive, twisted bullies who use every opportunity to pollute the world with their endless stream of anger and venom.

You are the embodiment of a justification for the removal of freedom of speech from the Bill of Rights!

Clearly you have issues. I hope you get help before you hurt someone - even yourself - not that I see this currently as a significant loss to the human race.

This was a great movie and I agree; we should have more like it, without the Sex Drugs and Violence. But what I find sad is, someone gives an honest decent opinion, that has nothing to do with facism, gets called a Nazi for it.
Conradulations, we have another mud slinger on the web, who aught to be shamed of himself.

Well the screen writers sucked the soul out of the book and converted it from a great adventure yarn written by Dougal Robertson soon after he was rescued into a bland, overly sweet and ultimately sterile film.

So while DonNova may have been rather blunt, he does make a valid point in response to the sappy and slightly deranged original post.

I remember liking this back then.
