The part where Shirlee/Dolly is supposed to be dangling from bridge in the beginning, that is a stunt person, right??

Most definitely! Do you think Dolly would allow herself to get dangled like that!! But at least if she fell in the water she has some built in flotation devices :)

The stunt person was at least twice Dolly's size. Dolly is a petite little thing. In fact, there is 12 inches difference between Dolly, 5 footer, and James Woods, 6 footer. But you wouldn't know it from the dance scenes.

Life is never fair, and perhaps it is a good thing for most of us that it is not.

Whenever I saw Dolly during the making of this film, she always wore very high heels (probably 5 inches or more). So that helped.
