Speaking as someone who had a schoolboy crush on Linda Evans some time ago, the hairstyle and color is very similar, but the facial features are noticeably different.
Those non-speaking extras that were in the audience were paid $50 a day just to stick around whether they were used or not. Do you really think the producers would treat a star like Linda Evans as an uncredited extra when they could have taken advantage of her notoriety with a credited speaking role?
