Just noticed this...

I've seen this movie a number of times, but when I was watching today I noticed something new. During the "Straight Talk" montage, the studio execs surprise Shirlee by presenting her with a new car. Among the bystanders are the two hosts of the morning talk show Shirlee witnessed when going to apply for the receptionist job at the station, and they don't look very pleased to be there. One of them is even scowling and shaking his head. You can just tell what he's thinking: "I've worked at this station for how many years, and this broad has been here for a couple of weeks and gets a new car?"

I noticed a goof that is not listed in the trivia section. In the beginning she drops a $100 bill by the bridge and tries to retrieve it. Throughout the movie, it is referred to as a $20 bill. Just saw this for the first time yesterday, it's a gem of a movie.

Noticed this as well. I thought sure it was a 100 dollar bill but she kept saying it was 20 bucks.

I'm worried that my guardian angel is a crack head...

To view the bridge scene, watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b8tibSfnN6I and cue it up to about 0:20 and you will hear Dolly say "You could have killed me and I lost my twenty bucks." Do you know where in the movie you got the impression it was a hundred dollar bill?

I thought at first it may have been a $50 bill (it looked like 2 digits and not 3), but when I went back to really look it was a $20 bill for sure.
