Overlooked, but I definitely recommend it. Go see it!

Has it ever been issued on video or DVD (Region 2). I can't locate it.

Yes! It was certainly issued on video in the UK! I bought a second hand copy at a shop!

One evening, my neighbour, who used to live in Iraq, invited me in for some nice Turkish coffee and a chat. She showed me her Arabic language satellite TV thingummy. It gets programmes from all over the Arabic-speaking world. One channel had a subtitled film. I took one look and thought, "No, I have Spader so much on the brain that I am hallucinating him!" But it was Storyville!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes it is on VHS/tape I was able to get a copy in a discount bin when Video stores started to downsize their tape stock for the DVD stock!!!!!

I was able to visit N.O. after the storm with my mom and one day she did not feel like going siteseeing/walking so i went on my own. And I made it to the COLUMNS HOTEL on St.Charles Ave.(3811) I really wanted to see it after reading in a magazine article that it was where some scenes of the PRETTY BABY(brooke shields) movie was filmed!!!! It was very! nice! to see it was still standing and did not appear to have any damage(if it did after the storm they did a good job on their repairs). I was able to see some of the photos from the shooting of the film and there is a circular red/sofa that was used in the movie in the area where most of the photos are hung and the photo with brooke&other cast members siting on the sofa is there also!!!!!

Maybe i'll be able to go back 1 day in the future it would probably be nice to go during halloween!!!!

I agree the film just got better each time after each viewing. I am a big fan of James Spader. I must have watched this film like a half a dozen times back in 1992. I just watched it recently, still pretty good!
