Saw it in high school

I remember our history teacher's favorite part was when Stalin threw a chicken wing at Nikita Khrushchev. A great movie about the life of Stalin. They must have spent a fortune in the make-up department to make Duvall resemble the Soviet premier, though.

I saw it too, and I fell asleep, sorry if my opinion is the opposite but is the most boring movie I ever seen in my life, yes, I'm only 17 but that's enough to hate this movie, sorry, I just didn't like it

I saw STALIN first when I was 16 and I loved it! Guess it goes to show some people are smarter and have better attention spans than others. Yeah, I'm stating that you're generally an idiot, lorenx.

I also saw this movie in a high-school history class (my Government class last year). I liked it, and a few weeks ago I even bought a used copy of the VHS. It's a good movie, though there are some (unintentionally?) funny moments (which are also some of my favorite moments). Most of our class thought it was funny when Stalin was shaking his boot in the face of the polar bear-skin rug and asking "Ten meters. Who could believe that?"

I wonder if Stalin really acted like this, throwing chicken wings at Khrushchev and shaking his boot in the faces of polar bear-skin rugs?

I watched it in middle school, 7th grade to be exact. I remember it was a big deal to get to watch it, as if released into theaters it would be rated R. Everyone had to get permission slips filled out by our folks or go to another room when the film was on.

lorenx is still an idiot.

I'm surprised - nothing R rated, I can think of. In what country/state/city do you live? (Oh, Volgograd??? :)
