Predicted the Snowden/surveillance stuff 10 years early?

Just saw this movie on tv. Fascinating take. So the NSA was trying to listen in on everybody here domestically way back then in the early 90s eh? I suspect they were doing it way back then & didn't need a goofy device like they found it here in the movie plot.

But it makes you wonder....

Snowden revealed these blackmailing parasites were watching us & reading our emails & text messages.

Makes you wonder what they were watching 20 to 30 years ago at the height of the cold war & shortly there after?

Wonder what all these unemployable spies are doing nowadays now that that's no Soviet Union to vanquish any more...

There is still Russia... Though China seems just as "spyable". And whatever Satanyahu is up to next is probably worth a look over.
