I remember a lot of VHS covers in the Horror section at Blockbuster or Video Update used to scare me as a kid like Evil Dead 2, Basket Case, Nightmare on Elm Street, etc. But Silent Night, Deadly Night 5's cover REALLY freaked me out. Those dolls with the glowing eyes.. could never sleep at night. Way cool and very effective.

It really was a great box cover. Unfortunately the movie didn't live up to the awesomeness of its artwork.

A typical case of the vhs cover being way better than the movie itself lol. Why not follow the artwork and just make a film about possessed teddy bears/stuffed animals or toys? Like a Child's Play knock off, I think that would've been a far scarier and much better film than a Pinocchio dude trying to fuck a kid's mom lol.....seriously?! A missed opportunity.
