Felt like the Karate kid.

I personally found this movie to be a lot like the first karate kid only with some twist and turns. First off in both stories a weak guy had the hots for a girl that someone stronger also likes and that person as a result uses his martial arts training to bully the weaker kid and got his friends in on it as well. Both movies also involve an Asian martial arts teacher stepping in and teaching the weaker kid how to fight. And both also had very similar villain karate teachers on the other end who instruct their students that mercy was wrong and to be as ruthless as possible. The only real difference is the thing with Chuck Norris stepping out of Barry’s fantasies into reality and helping him and Mr. Lee/company defeat the “evil dojo” who happened to wear similar looking costumes to the dojo lead by John Crease in the karate kid.

At least Mr. Lee could use the pronoun "I".

(This is not a slam against Mr. Myagi, mind you.Just an opinion, nothing more.)

It pretty much IS The Karate Kid, except Barry's handicap is being asthmatic, not Italian. :D
