Does anybody know where Barry's house is located at or the Frying dragon restaurant in Houston? Pretty much every other place in this movie I have found, even lauren's house which is located on blue bonnet blvd.It's interesting to see the actual places, 20yrs later.

I also noticed that Lamar Highschool to the location of Lauren's house is about 4 miles. And the house they used for Barry should be 2-4 miles away, as he told Mr Lee that he lives 2 miles. I also looked up on Lamar's website to see if lauren's house is even in the Lamar school district and it is. So there's a honest plot in the movie. :)

I was just curious if anybody knows the location or street of either barry's house or the place the used for the frying dragon. That is, if they haven't been knocked down or something. Been trying to pin point either of these places. Thanks!

UPDATE:

I found the location of the the Frying Dragon. It was located at 5326 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. Used to be Artemis Sports Bar. It has since been torn down and a new building is in it's place. Kinda sad to know the frying dragon is gone.

Thanks for the information, I've always thought the locations in this film were magical. I absolutely love the ending shot, does anyone know where that is located?

It never donned on me to look for Barry's house. I would love to see it sometime. I should really buy this movie, which I would consider a guilty pleasure. I was in middle school when it was released and grew up watching it on VHS.
