1. i don't recall the cannabalism in the film. when did that occur?
I dont think there is.... although issei sagawa, who plays tanaka in the film is in real life a convivted killer who partialy ate his victim.

2. there's an amputation too? don't remember that either.

3. the ladies went to the sleeping room willingly, right?
Yeah. I guess this is what a lot of people have a problem with when watching the film.

4. they showed some man fallen on the ground from a high window. was that the prior incident about a father or someone that was killed in some building? the two ladies discussed this on top of a building. who was that man?
I think it has echoes of the conversation earlier, deffinitely. The continuity of the suicide scene is pretty discombobulated, due to the Halucion overdose, i supose

5. was there a camera behind the bathroom mirror?
Theres camera's everywhere in Sato's films! I think it mainly enhances the feeling of paranoia

6. boy, wouldn't the vid cameras these days be really useful back then! now they are so tiny

7. was that a gas mask the one stranger/lover wore while making love with it to the lady? or was there a camera in there?
i presume so. I dont remeber a camera

9. have you ever done the ice pick and pick between the fingers like they did in the film? i've seen that in other movies, too.
it is a pretty common game, a drinking game played by bored saliors mainly, a bit of a pussy version of russian roulette i suppose
