Questions

Ok, this isn't a work of Shakespere but it was a decent enough movie to kill a couple of hours on a snowy afternoon. I have a couple of questions...

If Margarethe was a spy why didn't she turn in her uncle, Ed, the (very hot looking) fishmonger, and Linda waaay earlier on? Her uncle was spying since WWI. Ed was a high ranking American officer. And (the very hot) fishmonger obviously was a fountain of information that the Nazi's would have loved to have had.

reply

Because she was a double agent...so she "played along" with the (I agree, hot-looking) fishmonger and the others, so they could keep feeding her the locations of Jews, that she could turn over to the SS without compromising her position. If she turned them over, she'd have to start from scratch with locating their hiding places.
