I always thought there was a total of 5 war movies mentioned, maybe the third one was "The Fighting Seabees" with John Wayne, on the other hand it was not released before 1944.

One movie is made up, there never was a film called "The Fighting 69" with Brenda Marshall & Cary Grant (see above).

The 5th and last movie mentioned at the end at 2:06 with the BBC interviewer is called "Victory at Dawn", but it's not listed in the imdb. So I guess that one was made up as well.
