First time you saw this movie?

I was just reading over the review on the movie page and they said they saw it when they were 21, and I was just wondering when everyone else saw it.

I'm pretty sure I was 6 or 7 when I first saw it. Seems pretty young now...

I saw it when i was 22 and in the theaters
I still love this movie, no matter what, all the bad acting and all
just watched it again today

reply

hey so did I =)
still love it
and I don't see why the acting is so bad, well Melanie Griffith annoys me, but I still think she did a respectable job

yeah I like her, I think that it might just be her voice, the breathiness of it that gets on my nerves
other wise yeah they all did a great good, the editing, the music score
just really a great love/war/mystery movie. glad to see that there are others who feel the same

reply

oh I completely agree, there's just something also other than the breathiness that really gets on my nerves...

I've loved this movie for a while, and I just recently found out that it flopped at the box office.

I was 12 but I was six or seven when I saw a part of it and that was where the two children start screaming and Linda takes them and run out of the house and buildings get bombed.

I saw this movie when I was 12 because of Joely Richardson.

23 or so when I first saw it. Get sucked in every time, even though I know there are differences or things left out from the book.

I was fifteen. Saw it on VHS when it came out. Enjoyed it a lot back then.
