A Lot Of Work Went Into Creating The Set For Hunting A Whale

I saw a documentary once on the making of this film and saw the huge amount of work it took to create that whale hunting set. A rock quarry was used and painted white. Fake ice and water was then added as well as the fake whale. When I later saw the film, was surprised to see that the whale hunting scene was only a few minutes long. All that work to create that arctic sea set for just a brief scene!

The more I study it, the greater the puzzle becomes.
