I was just wondering if anybody knew, if it's just coincidential, or there's an explanation of some kind, that alle lead actors in this movie have appeared in (different) David Lynch movies?

No coincidence at all.
This movie is complete spawn of Blue Velvet. And, to be clear, I enjoyed it. But it's definitely Lynchian. Aesthetically, thematically, with Hopper coming in and bringing the batty American male menace...the color scheme from scene to scene. The main dialogue is sexually charged male/female banter from a couple looking for a way out of a jam. It's all Lynch homage.
Which is not to downgrade it, but instead to compliment Lynch in terms of his gravity.
