They should release on Blu-ray
I think it deserve one.
By the way all De Palma´s films should be on blu-ray.

agreed, scream factory or someone else should get there hands on this.
shareGood call, mulholland -- SF is releasing it on June 28. One of De Palma's most stylish films, and a lot funnier than I expected.

Awesome news.
"What a bunch of slack jawed fags around here"-Predator.
just got it in the mail today, and what a great release from scream! the newer dir cut version is very interesting to watch if you grew up watching this film like i did.
shareGood to hear. Haven't seen any reviews yet -- how's the transfer?
I have much larger problems to fry - Milos
I actually have it on right now, and so far it looks great. By far the best its ever looked imo, I dnt think they did a 2k transfer or anything but it still looks really nice.
pq is nice and soft, the colors pop, details in the close-ups are def there, & the split diopter shots look awesome! I have the diff version on, i still havnt put the first disc in yet. The audio is crystal clear also.
I dnt think any fan will be upset with this release. It comes loaded w a ton of interviews, although doesn't seem to have anything w De Palma. Then a pretty cool visual essay by the guy who re-cut the film into what became the directors cut. De Palma saw that version and liked it so much he requested scream factory include it in this release.
Just posted the press release from Scream Factory for their upcoming collector's edition of RAISING CAIN at my site - click here to check out the info, including details on how it will include two cuts of the film... http://bit.ly/29XUDiB
