No, it's a reference to the second personality, Cain, just like in the Bible. No references to Michael Caine movies.

I get that the second personality is named Cain. Its just that Depalma refrences himself a lot in his films and its odd how similar Carter/Cain is to Elliott/Bobbi and that Michael Caine played that character.
