I expected her to go to Beijing (capital)

I thought it was interesting and funny how she went to en ever larger place - from Village to Town to City. The next logical step could have been Capital. Some villagers were already joking that the wife will probably take her case all the way to Beijing (the capital of China). It would have been a great alternative ending to the film. But that didn't happen, and that's fine, the film was good the way it is.
