A New Sequel....

If I was a writer,I would have written a better sequel than the one that was written. I would have taken off with the story line that would have made sense. The character of Buddy Jackson would reappear. When Dusty/Wyatt told him that it was over... he said "no it's not..." To me that left the door wide open for another movie... I know it will never happen - but anything would have been better than what they came up with!!! It was too hokey!

If I could title the remake,I'd call it "Play,Guitar Play" based on the 1977 Conway Twitty song... and have the music soundtrack based off of '50's and '60's Country classics including Jack Greene/Ricky Van Shelton's song... Statue of a Fool.

I don't know if I'll hear any feedback on this... but this is just my thoughts on the subject.
