Made me sooo emotional. I never got to see all of it, but taped it. The reason I couldn't watch the rest of it was because of all the awful things the older boys did to PK when he was in boarding school. At first I was upset/angry beacuse of what they were doing to a child at that age, and for pretty much no reason. Then it dawned on me, the actor who played PK at the stage of the movie is the SPLIT image of my baby brother... I spent most of the day crying because it upset me so much. Even as I write this, 2 days since 'saw' the movie, tears are starting to roll down my cheeks.

Other than that, I have to say that this movies was excellent.

al;l of the ppl saying that the fact that they added in maria into the movie was stupid arent thinking. maria was there to show the dutch side of the story and it added more conflict to the film than having a balck woman as pks ;love interest

Yes, I agree to that. I find the addition of Maria adds a very interesting turn to the whole story saying that not all the dutch are bad. You see, eventhough she is the daugther of one of the apartheid's biggest men, she still wants to help the blacks. And being killed by "her own people" adds to the controversy and shows among other things the suffering P.K. receives from the dutch. Of course I might be wrong...
