For the rest of you butchers, stay away from my country, you all know nothing.

The sexiest sound in the world? English spoken with an Afrikaans accent. Unlike whatever they were speaking in the movie. South Africans will get what I mean.

Of course it's different in South Africa than how it was depicted in the film.
Because the film is set, at the beginning, before WWII.
Just like pre-WWII America or Germany or just about any other country involved is different from then.
Also, apartheid ended in, I believe 1994? Give or take a year. So it's even MORE different now.

An interesting film about a depressing subject. The language may as well have been totally in a foreign tongue, the film would have been more enjoyable with sub titles.
