Film Location

I've been to the town in Georgia where this was filmed. Its just outside of Peachtree City, GA. I drove down the road that goes by the water tower and where the exterior shots for Jeff's father's vet clinic was. I've also seen the house where Jeff and his father lived at. I am still unsure about where exactly the road is where you see the boys ride their bikes at and where Clyde was killed. I'm assuming its right around that same area. Does anyone have any other facts about the locations? Has anyone else been to them? Also, just to point out, I noticed the Drew (Jason McGuire) was from the outskirts of the Atlanta area and went to a highschool I am very familiar with, which is Parkview. I went to school around Atlanta myself.
