DVD vs. VHS

there is a scene where gus (now a zombie) goes from the bathroom to the bedroom to get it on w/ drew buddy's mom. when he rips her nightgown thing off, you could see her boobs, but only in the vhs version! on the dvd they cut it out. i was just curious as to why that would happen? its really like half a second cut... just don't see the point. she's pretty hot btw..
