Filming Location Question?

I live in Sulphur which is less than 10 minutes from Lake Charles. Where they filmed the movie. I have also been to Jennings and Lake Arthur other little locations of the movie. Jennings is right off of Interstate 10 about 30 minutes East of Lake Charles. While Lake Arthur is 7 miles from Jennings. Anyways I've noticed that it says Hospital Scene was in Lake Charles. Well Lake Charles has 2 Hospitals. St. Patricks and Memorial. I was wondering if anybody knows which one it is or if you can describe the hospital. I've tried asking around but nobody knows.

I took the 'Location Tour' that was supplied compliments of The Jeff Davis Parish Tourist Commission and The Jeff Davis Parish Economic Development Office.

Location No 1. is the Jernnings Hospital at 1634 Elton Road (Hwy.26)
"This location was used to "cheat" a New York Hospital room and the New York Hospital hallway. Here is where the opening scene was shot. (May-Alice, a daytime soap star, awakens from surgery only to dicover she is paralyzed)."

Location No 2. Physical Therapy Clinic of Jennings at 607 State Road.
"This location was used as Louise's Therapy Room. On her first session with Louise, we learn May-Alice is originally from Jeff Davis Parish. Lake Arthur, Louisiana to be exact."

How did the MacDonnel Residence weather Katrina?

Jennings/Lake Arthur did fine with Katrina. She missed us big time. Now, Rita. Wow what a bitch. Rita messed up such of Southwest Louisiana.

I to am origially from Lake Charles, and to correct, Lake Charles in 1992 had a 3rd hospital, wich was Moss Reginal.

There is also Women and Children's hospital on Nelson Rd. Back then I believe it was called Humana Women's Center.

Although, I was recently watching this movie on THIS.tv and the end credits say it was Lake Charles Memorial.
