Question about the ending

When the two women are sitting in the boat at the end of the film I thought I heard Mary Alice say that she was "dying". Did I mis-hear or misunderstand? I thought it was possible I wasn't paying proper attention when she had the conversation with her physical therapist toward the end of the movie-was something said then? Thanks in advance for your help!

I recorded this recently (love the movie) and just went to the end. May-Alice is telling Chantalle that she (M-A) is staying and Chantalle still has her job. Chantalle says something like "are you serious?" and M-A says "if I'm lying, I'm dying" meaning she's telling the truth. A Southern version of "cross my heart and hope to die", I guess.

Ah! Thank you-that's a more satisfying ending. I thought I had mis-heard. Appreciate your reply.

And Sugar says it to Chantelle, about mid-way thru the movie, when they're intimate:

S: You kind of took the wind out of my sails anyway.
C: Poor baby.
S: I got feelings, too, you know.
C: Is that right?
S: If I'm lyin', I'm dyin'.
