Did Rane kill his own guy intentionally or accidentally?

I mean when he said I loathe the incompetence and then he shot the guy. Did he kill him intentionally or was he aiming for Cutter but missed?

It would be hilarious for someone to say "I loathe incompetence" and then accidentally shoot the wrong guy as a punishment for incompetence.

No question it was intentional. Also shows Cutter that he is in control and can't hold anything over him.
